Heritage and Learning is an integral part of what Warts and All does. We work with trained, experienced artists to enhance the academic or enrichment offer of educational establishments.

Warts and All Theatre do this in a number of ways – through year long partnerships, after school or in school drama and theatre clubs, and curriculum-themed workshops throughout the year.

Read on to find out about specific areas of our heritage and learning programme, or use the button at the bottom of the page to contact our Heritage and Learning Coordinator, Kate, to discuss your needs.

We offer a number of workshops to support your institution's academic or extra curricular provision.

We currently deliver five themed workshops:

  • Growth Mindset ‘Grow your brain’

  • Anti-Bullying ‘Celebrating difference’

  • World Book Day workshop

  • Shakespeare ‘Speaking Shakespeare’

  • Stage Combat ‘Slap, Punch & Kick’

Drama Clubs are a great opportunity for participants to develop their confidence, team work and drama skills in a fun and collaborative environment.

Our sessions are process driven, which means they focus on developing the individual through drama games, activities and performance. Each term the groups work towards an informal sharing for parents and guardians.

Warts and All Theatre Drama Clubs are delivered by trained and experienced professionals who all hold an enhanced DBS and take part in regular training and development. The best part, for schools, is that we take care of all group admin, including: payments, communications with parents and registration.

Each Drama Club runs for one hour at the end of the school day for 10 weeks.
