We believe everyone should have the opportunity to engage with high-quality arts and theatre experiences, as actors, ‘behind-the-scenes’ supporters and audiences. We think helping develop the skills of trained and untrained artists is the core of what we do, and if you’d like to help us with this, we’re always on the lookout for new funders and supporters.
We raise at least £15,000 every year to fund our bursary scheme for participants who may not be able to engage in our weekly groups because of cost
We have supported 148 individual artists through workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to develop their craft since we launched in 2016
Our With/By/For Artists' Development programme has enabled emerging artists to access a total of £59,483 of funding to realise their own projects
We deliver 6 after school Drama Clubs in primary schools every week.
And this is a really exciting time to get involved with the work of Warts and All. We’re growing fast and are offering more and more opportunities for people to engage with fantastic arts and theatre. In 2018-2019:
6,302 people took part in a rehearsal process, workshop or masterclass
11,960 people came to our events
We delivered a total of 687 participation sessions
4,372 school children engaged with our heritage and learning programme
The wide range of activity we do is supported by a variety of organisations across the locations we work in, and we receive specific project funding from Arts Council England. You can find out more about our funders here.
If you love what we do and want to help us do more of it, there are three tiers for support.
